Recently, in an exclusive interview with News18, Karthik spoke about the fact that Bhool Bhulaiya 2 would never be such a hit at the box office. The actor said that the film has helped Bollywood recover from the damage done to the industry during the epidemic. “I believed in the content and I knew the film would gross at least Rs 100 crore at the box office. But I didn’t know we could revive the industry. We never thought it would cross the Rs 200 crore mark. That’s more than we expected, “he said.
