WWE SummerSlam 2022: Two new championship matches announced

Kolkata, July 9: During this year’s SummerSlam, later this month, Liv Morgan will face the first tough challenge of her winning career as Rhonda Rossi.

The Money in the Bank 2022 rematch between the two was confirmed on SmackDown this week. MITB is the first championship of Morgan’s career.

In the opening match of that PPV night, Liv won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match and then found her stopping ring for the championship match against Rousey, who had recently successfully defended the title against Natalya.

Rousseau quickly grabbed him by the ankle lock but Liv managed to escape, aiming at the injured knee. She then brought Rossi upstairs to win the pin.

As SummerSlam 2022 begins on SmackDown, Natalia Liv’s championship credentials are showing her sharpshooter the way to win Liv.

Juice joins the scene and argues with Natalya. This was followed by a match between Rusi and Natalya. Rusi locked Nate’s ankle to win in a matter of minutes.

After that victory, Morgan was scheduled for the biggest match of the summer against the Russians. However, next week on SmackDown, Natalya will also face a championship contestant. If Netty wins, the declared championship match could eventually become a triple threat.

In more news from SummerSlam 2022, Usos will once again defend the undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship in a match against The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins).

Usos defeated The Profits to retain the tag title Money in the Bank 2022. However, the replay showed Ford on his shoulder during the pin-fall count, which the referee did not notice.

As a result, WWE has announced that the upcoming event will feature a championship match between the two teams. Also, special guest referees will be appointed to ensure that no such errors remain in the show but their names have not yet been announced.

The 2022 SummerSlam Premium live event will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Following is the match card updated after SmackDown,
