Trisha Krishnan believes that Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan will be the best Pan-India film

The much awaited Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan: Part One is all set to hit the silver screen on September 30th. Audiences are eagerly awaiting the adaptation of this novel by author Kalki Krishnamurthy. At the teaser launch of the film, Trisha Krishnan, who is playing the role of Princess Kundavai in the film, said that Ponniyin Selvan would be the best all-India film.

He said that he is happy to play the role of Princess Kanduwai. He said that every actor wants to work in Mani Ratnam’s films.

Vikram Prabhu also expressed his opinion about this film. According to Vikram, Ponniyin Selvan is truly a multistarrer film as it has a total of 30 actors. Vikram is reminded that his grandfather loved the novel Ponyin Selvan very much. He said his father asked him to buy five more copies of the novel. It shows the love of Ponyin Selvan. It remains to be seen whether the film will be as well received.

Jayam Ravi was also very happy to be a part of this film. According to him, nothing better happened in his life before he became a part of such a film.

According to reports, it took Ponyin Selvan three years to complete. The first part will be screened in five languages. AR Rahman has composed the music for the film. Cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman. It is handled by Madras Talkies and Laika Productions.

Along with Ponyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam is returning to directing after four years. Released on 27 September 2018, Czech Chivanta Vanam was his last film. Chekka Chivanta Vanam received a lot of praise after its release. This is the story of three brothers who wanted to seize power after the death of their father.
