Actress Akanksha Puri and singer Mika Singh were rumored to be getting married in April last year.
Mika Singh is currently looking for a mate for himself in his self-titled show Mika Di Vohti. The show premiered on June 19 and has been making headlines ever since. In this show, contestants from all over the country are fighting with each other to become Mika’s girlfriend. However, according to recent reports, actress Akanksha Puri has also been signed as a contestant and not a guest on the show.
Yes, you read that right. According to E-Times, Akanksha Puri will be competing in Mika Di Vohti. A source close to the entertainment portal has claimed that Akanksha has been finalized for the show and has started shooting for it. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
In April last year, rumors of Akanksha Puri and Mika Singh’s marriage surfaced. It all started after the actress posted a video in which the two were seen taking blessings in the gurdwara. The actress spoke about it earlier this year and stated that she will not marry Mika Singh. “I am also married to Mika and married (laughs). I have known him for over a decade. Micah and I still know a lot about each other. It is never good to go too far with someone. Mika is not the person I will marry, although we can play Cupid with each other. Also Micah doesn’t think he’ll get married anymore. I’m not going to date anyone, I’m just going to do it if I can.
Akanksha became a popular name to play the role of Goddess Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesh for more than three years before leaving the show in 2020. She was also linked with Bigg Boss 13 fame Paras Chhabra.
Meanwhile, actress Divyanka Tripathi will be joining the show as the singer’s sister in the upcoming episode of Mika Di Vohti.
