And from covering the spread to winning the championship trophy, the Stallions certainly earned their winning season. While looking pretty easy on the Birmingham field, most people weren’t expecting their impressive season, including the Odsmaker. In fact, coming into the regular season, Birmingham weren’t even the favorites to win it all. Before the start of the season, the team’s chances of winning the title on Fox Island were listed at +550, at number four.
Although futures for the second season of the USFL are not yet available, Fox Island sports trader Martin Pasquale predicts that the next season will be even more exciting for fans.
“After playing a season already, there will be more awareness and people will be more interested in gambling in this sport,” Pascual predicts.
And as this interest grows, bookmakers should keep in mind a lesson that betting on fewer people can be fun and rewarding. Champion Stallions is a perfect example of that truth.
