The organization announced Thursday that social media influencer Logan Paul has signed a deal with WWE.
The deal is a multi-event deal, sources told ESPN, which will go ahead in 2023. Paul will compete in the ring at several WWE Premium live events (formerly called pay-per-view by the company) and create TV shows based on the storyline.
Paul appeared at WrestleMania 37 with WWE Superstar Sammy Zen in April 2021, before making his in-ring debut in a tag-team match with The Miz vs. Ray Mysterio and his son Dominic Mysterio at WrestleMania 38 this year.
Miz and Paul won and then Miz surrounded Paul. In Monday’s edition of Raw, The Miz called Paul while setting the stage for a singles match at SummerSlam later this month in Nashville.
Logan Paul, a fellow YouTube star, is the older brother of Jake Paul. Little Paul has had success in boxing with many pay-per-view headlines. Most recently, Jake Paul fired former UFC champion Tyrone Woodley in December.
Jake Paul is set to fight heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy Fury on August 6 in New York.
