Samrat Prithviraj’s director Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi said that the film was seen by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat along with other prominent leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday watched Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar’s film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ and said, “We are now looking at history from the perspective of India”, according to PTI. He described Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi’s film as ‘World Class’. “It is a fact-based film and conveys the message that the country needs today. We used to read history written by others. Now we are looking at history from India’s perspective,” Bhagwat was quoted as saying. Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi works closely with Sanskar Bharati.

Meanwhile, the film, which was released on June 3, has received positive response and appreciation from fans. Fans also hailed Emperor Prithviraj as a blockbuster with initial reviews.

The film has also been released in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had seen Akshar Kumar’s film at a special screening in Lucknow on Thursday. Manushi Chillar and film director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi were also present at the screening. In the photos currently being shared on social media, Yogi Adityanath is seen sitting next to Akshay Kumar and watching movies.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood and is the Bollywood debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar. In this film, Akshay will be seen in the role of warrior king Prithviraj, while Manushi will be seen in the role of his girlfriend Sanyukta.
