Major has been produced by Sony Pictures International Production in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A + S Movies. It is directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka. Apart from Adivasi Shesh, the film also stars Shobhita Dhulipala, Sai Manjrekar, Revati, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla and Murali Sharma. The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan pays homage to the spirit of life and presents his dedication, patience and sacrifice.
Meanwhile, speaking of Vijay Devarakonda, the actor is all set to make his Bollywood debut from Ligar soon, including Ananya Pandey. He will also be sharing a screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu for Kushi, which is currently shooting.
