Varun Dhawan says that no one can say what will work at the box office and what will not.

In recent times, you have seen a lot of actors and filmmakers talking about what is working for Bollywood and what is not. Recently, Varun Dhawan’s name has been included in this list. In a recent interview, Varun mentioned how he feels that Bollywood has stopped entertaining spices on a large scale. The actor also mentioned that no one can say what will and will not do at the box office.
“We have stopped making masala family entertainers because we are heavily influenced by western countries. No one does it from big producers to business people and yet we go out every week and give the knowledge that it works, it works, ”Varun told PTI.
Varun Dhawan is currently enjoying the success of Jagjag Geo which was released on June 24. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Earlier today, trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that Jagjag Jio took a big leap at its box office on its second Sunday, earning Rs 6.10 crore nationwide. In the last two days, it has earned Rs 4.75 crore and Rs 3.30 crore respectively. Apart from this, the total collection of films in the country so far has reached Rs 67.54 crore.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Baval with Janhvi Kapoor. According to reports, Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari’s film will be shot in four European countries, including City of Love – Paris. The film is set to hit theaters on April 7, 2023. Also, it was recently reported that Varun will be working with Anees Bajmi, the director of Bhool Bhulaiya 2 for his upcoming project. However, no official announcement has been made yet. Besides, Coffee with Karan will be seen in season 7 with actor Anil Kapoor.
