Marina Machan has handed over her first Indian Super League (ISL) contract to both the players. Both will join Chennai FC from Madan Maharaj Club in Bhopal.
In Vallavilai village in Kanyakumari district, Dhas is a midfielder while Francis is a defender. They played together for Chennai City in two I-League seasons.

Francis was one of the few Indian footballers selected by Spanish club Eddie Alcorcan for a month-long training camp in Madrid. The 22-year-old has played 11 games and scored one goal in his professional career.

Expressing excitement over his first ISL deal, Francis said, “I am delighted to be joining the Chennaiyin FC family and I look forward to playing in front of the fans. This is my first time playing for a club in ISL and I look forward to next season. ”
Dhas, on the other hand, started his professional career with the Lions in 2019 and has played 32 matches so far. He scored two goals and assisted three. What is special is that both of his goals came while playing as a center forward. He also played in the AFC Cup for Chennai City.
Dhas said, “I am very much looking forward to playing for Chennai FC in my hometown in front of Tamil Nadu fans. I will give my best for these fans and for this team.
