The Lilliwits named Antonio Conte as their replacement in the middle of the season with Nuno Espirito Santo. And, the Italian made an impact in the club.
Conte did well to take Spurs to the top four ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United, and he looked eager to build his team.
The North London team has already included Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster in their squad without spending a single penny. With a manager like Conte in charge and doing well in business at the end of the season, Daniel Levy is ready to support the manager as much as possible this summer.
Here, we see three players with whom Spurs have been linked.
Christian Erickson
Ericsson represented his country and made a strong comeback to the Euro last summer with a big shock. Brentford raised eyebrows when he signed a six-month deal with Ericsson in January, but Fann showed he was just as good a player as he had been before his heart attack.
Now available on a free transfer, Ericsson has been linked with several clubs, including its predecessor Tottenham Hotspur.
Jade Spence
With a loan from Middlesbrough in Nottingham Forest, Spence had a great performance in the championship last season. Nottingham are back in the Premier League after winning the playoffs and Spence has been instrumental in their success. He has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including English right-back Spurs. He could be a great addition to Conte’s side, who made a good impression last season as a right wing-back.
Gabriel Jesus
Jesus is a wanted man this summer and he seems to be interested in all three clubs in London. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are chasing a Premier League-winning striker who could play on the frontline. However, Spurs are currently considered to be Brazil’s leading international runners and could add a lot of firepower to an already effective Spurs attack.
