Sonam Kapoor is expecting her first child with husband Anand Ahuja. Sonam had announced her pregnancy earlier this year and since then she has been setting pregnancy style goals. While we were taking style notes, the actress was spotted attending her baby shower in London on Wednesday. Anand, Riya Kapoor and some close friends attended the intimate bath.
The baby shower took place in the home garden, arranging custom menus, napkins and gifts for each guest. Sonam’s name was also written on the hand-painted tablecloth. While there was variety in the main course, the photos shared by the guests showed pies being served for dessert. The pictures also revealed that the personal neckpiece contained the name of each guest and a white pouch.
Rhea shared some glimpses of the party and said, “Such a beautiful baby shower.” Along with the beautiful arrangements at the party, British Pakistani Leo Kalyan also performed. Kalyan was seen making fun.
Sonam recently made headlines for a terrific pregnancy shoot in which she was seen wearing Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s off-white satin skirt and paired with a long trailing multi-panel hand-embroidered dress. As soon as the photo went viral, Sonam shared her thoughts on motherhood and celebrated the moment with designer couple Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. “I am taking a moment to catch my breath, expressing surprise at this precious moment in my life. A new journey is about to begin. Motherhood is a very deep experience to describe in words. It must be lived and experienced, “she said.
