Former India captain Dhoni first met Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant on the stand when the Man in Blue defeated England by 49 runs in the second T20I. India won the T20 series 2-0 at Birmingham.
Dhoni then visited the Indian dressing room and met wicketkeeper and opener Ishan Kishan and a few others and spent some time chatting with them.
Dhoni’s last competitive match was in IPL 2022 for Chennai Super Kings, where CSK could not reach the knockout stage for the second time in its existence.
Dhoni, who celebrated his 41st birthday earlier this week, has not announced his full retirement from the game and is expected to lead CSK in IPL 2023. Maybe, he wants to sing a swan in front of his darling Chennai crowd.

The Indian fast bowlers, led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jaspreet Bumrah, hit the England bowlers and helped England win the T20I series after being bowled out for 121 in 17 overs in the second T20I.
England’s day was very disappointing. The extremely aggressive batting board again failed to live up to its reputation, spending a fortune in front of the Indian fast bowlers.
The Indian team bowled out the hosts for 121 in the first half and won the series.
Only Moin Ali and David Wiley could score some good runs to their name. Bhuvneshwar Kumar laid the foundation of this amazing bowling in the powerplay.
Earlier, the England fast bowlers, led by Richard Gleeson and Chris Jordan, dominated the Indian batsmen in the second T20 match in Birmingham as the efforts of skipper Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja helped the Men in Blue score 170/17 in 20 overs. Competitive score 8.. Valuable for visitors.
