Milwaukee Brewers' Adrian Hauser leaves against Pittsburgh Pirates due to corner tightness

PITTSBURGH – Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Adrian Hauser left the game with a right corner stiffness in the third inning against Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

After Daniel Vogelbach was run out, manager Craig Counsel and the athletic trainer visited Hauser on the mound. Hauser then left after a brief conversation, and Brent Sutter reassured him.

The Pirates beat NL Central’s leading brewers 3-2 in the second inning on home runs by O’Neill Cruz and Jack Suwinski.

Hauser has struggled in recent weeks. Prior to Wednesday, he had gone 1-4 with a 6.54 ERA in his last six games. He is 4-8 with a total of 4.72 ERA this season.
