Bristol. Ten – Mike Salinas chased down his third consecutive victory at Bristol Dragway to top the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in the Top Fuel Qualifiers on Saturday.
Celinas topped the final qualifying session with a time of 3.767 seconds and 327.59 points. He has three wins this season.
“I’ve won Father’s Day before (in 2019) and it will be very special to do it again,” said Salinas. “This place has a special place in my heart. I don’t know why I like it so much, but it’s so beautiful here. (But) I think tomorrow you will be amazed at how fast these trains go. This will happen in less than a decade. “
Robert Hayat topped the Funny Car category, Aaron Stanfield was the fastest in the Pro Stock, and Angel Sampy topped the Pro Motorcycle.
Hyatt tops the Chevrolet Camaro at 310.98 with an increase of 3.971 since Friday. Stanfield jumped to No. 1 in Camaro on Saturday, moving to 6.638 at 206.57. The winner of the previous competition, Sampi improved its score from 196.04 to 6.874 on Friday.
