Mexico has a men’s national team Announced Three additional friendly matches before the 2022 World Cup – 24 September against Peru in Pasadena, California. Colombia on September 27 in Santa Clara, California, and Sweden on November 16 in Girona, Spain.
The matches will be played at the Rose Bowl and Levies Stadium in California, as well as the Estady Montelvi in Spain. With a friendly match against Paraguay at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on 31 August, El Troy Now there are four practice matches left before going to Qatar.

Both Levi’s Stadium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium have recently been selected as two of the 16 venues for the 2026 World Cup, hosted by Mexico, the United States and Canada. The host of the 1994 World Cup final, the Rose Bowl, was not selected, but was replaced by another at the Sophie Stadium in the Los Angeles area.
Mexico’s next four rivals have not qualified for the World Cup. Peru, in particular, lost less than one place in the tournament after losing to Australia on penalties in the single-leg Intercontinental Playoff earlier this month.
In Qatar, Mexico will start the Group C match against Poland on November 22, followed by Argentina on November 26 and Saudi Arabia on November 30.
