Produced by FSV Frankert’s youth academy, Liskovic made his professional debut in the Bundesliga with FSV Mainz at the age of 19 and played for the club for five seasons until 2015.
The marquee announcement came after Chennai FC Camp was encouraged by the services of Ghanaian forward Kwame Karikari.

Sliskovic plays mainly as a center-forward and has 136 goals and 16 assists in 359 games. For most of his career, he has played highly competitive football in Germany.
He was also part of the FSV Mainz team that emerged as the Under-19 Bundesliga champions in 2008-09.
In addition to FSV Mainz, the 6’4 striker has also played for several other German clubs, including Hlacher FC, Victoria 1889 Berlin and MSV Duisburg.
Sliskovich said, “I am very happy to be moving to Chennaiyin FC. It’s a great club, I hear. And I will give my all to make sure we succeed. ”

FC Aarau is the only non-German club in which Liscovi has played so far in his long career of 12 years.
The 31-year-old has spent two seasons at the Swiss club since 2014-15, scoring five goals and two assists in 31 matches for him in the tournament.

Welcoming Slykovich to the club, CFC co-owner Vita Dani said: “Peter Slykovich is a great addition to our team. Having played with some of the top coaches and players in many different clubs in Germany, Sliskovic also has the experience that some of our youngsters can play. ”
The CFC will focus on a good performance this time around in the 2020-21 ISL season, with the Yellow Brigade finishing eighth and failing to advance to the playoffs.
He started the ISL 2021-22 season under head coach Bozidar Bandovic before the Montenegrin coach and after a poor result the club decided to part ways in the middle of the campaign.
Former India international Sabir Pasha later took over the Interim Yellow Brigade.
