Anushka Sharma has completed the first schedule of her upcoming sports drama film. Wheel ‘ExpressedThe film is based on the life of former Indian women’s cricket team captain Jhulan Goswami.
Anushka announced this on Instagram on Saturday.
The actor had earlier been seen training for the role at the Mumbai Cricket Ground. Photos of the practice session actress were shared online through several of her fan pages. The actress is also taking tips from her cricketer husband Virat Kohli for the preparation of this film.
The film traces Jhulan’s inspiring journey as she climbs the ladder to fulfill her dream of playing cricket for India, despite the difficulties posed by bad politics.
She succeeded in her goal and she led the Indian women’s national cricket team. In 2018, an Indian postage stamp was issued in his honor.
Jhulan holds the world record for most wickets taken by a woman in an international career.
