On Saturday, the producers shared some interesting behind-the-scenes process of how Ranbir prepared to play the two characters Shamshera and Bally.

The latest video shared on YouTube by Yashraj Films shows how the team of costume designers Rushi Sharma and Manoshi Nath came together to create a different look for Shamshera and Bally. The designer duo revealed the process and said that Ranbir was very challenging in terms of portraying opposite characters. Because father Shamshera is a revolutionary, very serious, proud. Regarding Bali, Ranbir said that the producers had done several look tests before reaching the final look. The Sanju actor said that he spent a few days shooting to create the whole scene for his second persona. Everything from the dirty dress to the costume was discussed in detail and shared by the actor. Speaking of Shamsheer, Ranbir was seen spending a lot of time in the makeup chair as the team created his look. He shared that Shamshera is part of a tribe and therefore has a different form that was considered to have a “bigger than life” character.

Shamshera also stars Vani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt and is set to release on July 22.
