Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh’s Thank God will be released on Diwali and will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Sethu.
Released in July, Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh’s Thank God will now hit the big screen on Diwali. Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is a piece of Jeevan Natak with a beautiful message along with comedy. Ajay and Rakul will be coming together on screen for the third time after De De Pyaar De and Runway 34. The film is the first collaboration between Indra Kumar and Devgn after starring in the 2019 action-comedy Total Dhamaal.
The release date of Thank God has now been moved by another Bhushan Kumar production, a villain 2.
However, the film will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Sethu.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Bhushan Kumar spoke about the projects that will be released in the coming months. Speaking about the film in the pipeline, Bhushan shared, “I have a lot of films for release. Action Hero with Ayushman Khurana, Bhola and Drishyam 2 with Ajay Saran, Vikram Vedha with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan with Ranbir Kapoor, Love Ranjan. We are also working with Rajkumar Rao on a number of projects, which will be announced soon.
Asked to comment on remake trends at a time when cinema was booming across India, Bhushan Kumar said, “Rowdy Rathore and Kabir Singh have done better in Hindi than the original industry and not all films are from the south. A movie has to be good for work – be it original, remake or sequel.
