Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chadha finally got an OTT release date

Lal Singh Chadha is a heart touching story of a physically challenged boy who overcame his difficulties and started a life-changing cross country marathon.

Aamir Khan starrer Lal Singh Chadha, who is set to hit theaters in August, has got his OTT release date. According to reports, the film will be released digitally in the first or second week of October.

A source told BollywoodLife.com that whatever the future of the film at the box office, the film is not expected to hit the OTT platform before the scheduled time. According to the agreement between the producers and the exhibitors, the digital release of the film is scheduled for eight to nine weeks in addition to its theatrical release.

Lal Singh Chadha is based on the 1994 Hollywood classic Forest Gump, an Academy Award winner. Tom Hanks traces the story of Forrest Gump, one of the most important events in American history. Lal Singh Chadha, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, is the heartbreaking story of a physically challenged boy who overcomes his difficulties and starts a life-changing cross country marathon.

The cast of the film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in lead roles. The film is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios. The film, which has been postponed several times due to the coronavirus epidemic, will now be released in cinemas across the world on August 11, 2022.

After Lal Singh Chadha, Aamir Khan has a few films to start working on. He has recently announced a Bollywood remake of the Spanish drama film Campion. The Sports-Comedy-Drama 2019 was the official Spanish entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars. Aamir is also said to have met Hitchhikers director Siddharth P Malhotra and liked one of his stories and asked him to develop it as a script.

Apart from these films, 2 biopics of Aamir are also under consideration. Gulshan Kumar has a biopic called Mughal and the second film is based on a controversial lawyer.
