After a concert in Toronto, Lilly Singh and the internet were shocked to see Diljit Dosanjh falling at the feet of Lily’s mother. Canadian comedian and talk show host Lily shared a photo of her mother’s meeting with a Punjabi superstar on Instagram. In the photos, Diljit is seen kneeling and receiving blessings from Lily’s mother.
Sharing the photo, Lily wrote, “Anything for my mother 
Shoutout to Homi रात्रीdiljitdosanjh last night for organizing my entire aunty squad in his show. Diljit came down from the stage and as soon as he saw my mother and me he came down to bless and my mother was worth watching.
“They value moments and memories. Believe in yourself !! I went home after the concert to sleep in my childhood bedroom and before going to bed I looked at my old vision board and smiled (and cried) at Diljit’s picture, ”she said.
Diljit went to the comments section and wrote, “Waheguru.” He also shared a photo of himself with Lily and his mother and a note for him. “I am very proud of our Punjabi girl (we are very proud of our own Punjabi girl). Respected Mummy G (with hand-joined emoji), ”he wrote.
