WWE Monday Night Raw Results, Recaps and Highlights: June 27, 2022

While the Bank Ladder match was in store on the Battle Royale card to secure a sixth entry for the men’s money, the main event featured a six-pack challenge to select the final entry for the women’s MITB match.

Check out the recap and results from the June 27 episode of WWE Raw at Sam’s Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas:

– AJ Styles defeated The Miz by a count-out in the match when Miz missed the unprecedented forearm and opted out of the ring.

– 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena entered the ring to pay his respects at the WWE Locker Room entrance. Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon was in the ring to introduce Cena to the audience.

Cena said the celebration is not about him, but about his fans who have created a real sense of atmosphere for him over the past 20 years. Over the years they have always been talked about their appearance.

He’s waiting for the right time to thank the fans, and last night was the right moment, Cena said. He ended his promo: “We never give up. We’re just getting started. And if you want something … bring it!”

Cena then presented his new t-shirt to a young fan and thanked the fans before leaving the scene.

– Bobby Lashley defeated Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) in a 1-on-2 handicap match at WWE United States Champion Theory with a special guest promoter.

Lashley tapped Hebel with a heart lock submission move, then was attacked by Alpha Academy and US Champion Theory, but he fought them alone. After Gable received the spear, Thierry withdrew from the ring.

– Cody Rhodes was shown in a gym while rehabilitating. Seeing this was a bitter moment for him as he would have been looking at money in the bank from home rather than participating in it.
