Just a week ago, Alia Bhatt shocked her fans when she shared a secret post in which she was lying in a hospital bed with Ranbir Kapoor. Soon, news of her “pregnancy” flooded the internet with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities. Karan Johar launches Alia Bhatt in Hindi cinema Student of the yearIn an interview with ETimes, Alia revealed that she shared the news with him. “She came to my office. I remember my hair was bad and I was wearing a hat and sitting in a hoodie. And he told me that,” he said.
What was his first reaction? The filmmaker said, “My first feeling was, tears came out and Alia came and hugged me. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re having a baby’. Your baby feels like a baby. It was a very emotional moment for me, still is! ”
Revealing his close relationship with Alia, Karan said, “I have seen her change from a girl to a great artist, to this amazingly confident woman. And I’m very proud. This was my first blast. Spinach. My parents first cried when she came into my office when she was 17 years old. She is 29 years old today and these last 12 years have been magical for both of us. I share a strong bond with him. I can’t wait to get her baby in my arms. It will be a very emotional moment when I hold my children. ”
On June 27, Alia had posted a photo of Ranbir sleeping next to her in a hospital bed. The two look at a monitor, dimmed by a red heart emoji. In the caption, the actress wrote, “Our baby … coming soon.”
