Wales vs Ukraine, World Cup qualifiers playoffs: live stream and kick off time in India

Ukraine, who have played in eight World Cup finals in their history, have not reached the stage since 2006, while Wales have not competed in the Shoppe since reaching the quarterfinals in 1958.

Wales beat Austria 2-1 in March to advance to the semi-finals, while Ukraine beat Scotland 3-1 in the semi-finals at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Wednesday (June 1).

In the first round of the UEFA Qualifying Round for Qatar 2022, Wales finished second behind Belgium in the group, which also includes the Czech Republic, Estonia and Belarus. A 1-1 draw against group winners Belgium ensured their progress.

Ukraine, on the other hand, finished second in the group, with current world champions France topping the group, along with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland and Kazakhstan. Ukraine’s war with Russia has dragged on since February.

Now the two sides will meet for the second time in history. The last time they met was in 2016, the only goal scored by Andrei Yermalenko as Ukraine beat Wales 1-0.
