In the early season USFL It was full of thrilling moments and Sunday’s championship game in Canton, Ohio was enjoyable for the entire trip.
Now that the title game has settled on a 33-30 victory over the Birmingham Stallions ’Philadelphia Stars, it’s time to watch the best plays of the 2022 campaign.

Top five moments of the USFL season

RJ Young has shared his top five moments of the USFL season. Champion Birmingham Stallions’ Scooby Wright and Jamar Smith are on the list. See why someone else cut!
5. Game-winner of Wad Lee
Moller’s quarterback was desperate for help when he called Wade Leela in midseason. James Madison, a three-time All-American signal-caller, was ready to leave Georgia Tech after relocating.
Five days after joining the team, Lee made a dramatic comeback, hitting Bailey Gadder with a touchdown to give Pittsburgh their first win of the season.
It would have been the Mollers ’only win of the 1-9 season, but it was still a bright moment.

We didn’t know it at the time, but Week 1 match between Birmingham and New Jersey will be a battle between the two best teams in the league. And it looks like the Generals will be at the top of the opening game of the season, leading to a four-minute playoff from 24-21.
But Smith, who got off the bench early in the game in place of injured starter Alex McGoff, went to work.
Smith guided the Stallions to a 10-play, 59-yard drive and scrambled from 2 yards with 23 seconds left to decide the game-winner.
