The 27-year-old was the highest-ranked young player in world football when he signed a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus in 2019. But even with regular representations, things do not go as planned.
He has had a tough journey in these three years at Juventus and his contract is set to expire in a year, believing the old woman is trying to stop him instead of giving him a new contract.
With a salary of £ 175,000 a week, there aren’t many sides that a midfielder can afford. So it is understandable to go to the Premier League.
According to the latest rumors, some Premier League sides are already involved with him and here are three teams that could try to sign him:
Everton
Everton survived a hamstring injury last season and Lampard is working hard to make significant improvements before next season. Midfield is one of the most relevant areas for the English manager, with Allen, Jean-Philippe Gubamin and Andre Gomes allowed to go. Lampard is looking to bring in good quality players in their place and the 27-year-old could add a good boost to the team. However, the budget on the English side is said to be low and some exits will have to wait before any progress can be made on the agreement.
Chelsea
Some reports have suggested that Chelsea are pursuing Rabiot with former PSG star Fan Thomas Tuchel. The Blues could miss three midfielders this summer, with Jorgenho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barclay all linked with possible exits. As a result, his interest in Rabiot is completely understandable. Rabiot is a chubby midfielder who is known not only for his passing and playing ability but also for his effective defensive strength. It could be a great addition to a side that didn’t seem to have the latest ideas last season.
Newcastle United
Newcastle United is another side that has come forward to make a French international effort. Magpies is looking to build a team after a successful season under new ownership and manager Howe. Since a large salary is no longer an obstacle, gaining a wealth of Rabiot’s experience would be a big boost and signing a statement.
