The Arizona Diamondbacks are calling on former Sai Young Award winner Dallas Cuchel to start Sunday’s game against the Detroit Tigers, manager Torre Lovulo told reporters.
Cashel signed a minor league deal with Diamondbacks earlier this month. He was dropped by the Chicago White Sox earlier this season after taking a 2-5 lead with a 7.88 ERA.
Keuchel, 34, won the American League Sy Young Award with the Houston Astros in 2015 and is a two-time All-Star and five-time Gold Glove winner.
By adding Keuchel to the 40-man roster, Diamondbacks are responsible for a प्रो 700,000 Major League minimum pro-rata share. The White Sox are responsible for the purchase of its remaining $ 18 million salary this year and खरेदी 1.5 million in the 2023 option.
