Actor Raj Undkat, who played the role of Tapu in the hit TV show Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma, is considering leaving TMKOC. The actor has not been shooting for the show for the last few days.
Raj’s TMKOC co-star Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays Bhide in the show, revealed that the young actor was absent from the set for some time. “As an actor, we don’t know if he has left the show but he had some health issues that prevented him from shooting for the last few days. I haven’t seen him on set, ”Mandar told Pinkvilla. Raj replaced Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu in TMKOC in 2017.

Meanwhile, Shailesh Lodha alias Tarak Mehta had also bid farewell to the show a few days back. Shailesh Lodha was part of the film Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta for 14 years. The actor has refrained from commenting after leaving the popular sitcom. However, a source close to the show’s team told indianexpress.com, “Shailesh feels that his character is lost in the cast. When they give their dates, they don’t have much. Also, now that the epidemic is over, their poet gatherings have resumed and they are very busy. He recently told the production house that he would not like to continue. Shailesh has now stopped coming for the shoot and he is standing on the ground.
