In the gold medal match, Arjun defeated Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Lukas Kozinski 17-9.
The 23-year-old from Punjab, who has been representing India since 2016, had earlier qualified for the top spot in the rankings with 261.1 points.
This is Arjun’s first gold medal for the senior team. He won the yellow metal at the 2016 Junior World Cup in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
Another Indian on the field, Partha MakhijaJoe qualified for the rankings after an impressive performance on Sunday and finished fourth with 258.1 points, beating 25-year-old Israeli shooter Sergei Richter by 259.9 points.
