Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani celebrated their fan day by blessing their Instagram feeds with glamorous reels. What is the occasion? Today, June 21, marks the third anniversary of his film Kabir Singh. It was a reunion moment for Shahid and Kiara. The two, who co-starred in the 2019 Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, appeared together in an Instagram reel. The 29-year-old actress appeared in a white strapless dress paired with a corset top and yellow neon pumps. In a vest with gray pinstripe pants and a white shirt, Shahid joined the actress. The caption with the video reads, ‘Three years of Kabir and Preeti. Kabir Singh. “In the romantic drama, Shahid plays a surgeon who falls in love with a medical student (Kiara) during his college days.
Reacting to Shahid and Kiara’s latest Instagram reel, some fans speculated that the duo will be seen together in Coffee With Karan Season 7. In a comment posted by a user, “Is this coffee with Karan set?” Other fans wondered if Shahid and Kiara were preparing for a sequel to Kabir Singh or any other project. As one fan commented, “I’m getting part 2 of Kabir Singh (I heard the other part of Kabir Singh is on the cards).”
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh was also criticized on the internet for promoting toxic relationships and misconceptions about masculinity. However, the film turned out to be a blockbuster hit for Shahid and Kiara. The original film Arjun Reddy starred Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Kiara will soon be seen in the family entertainment film Juggjug Jio, starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The film is set to hit theaters on June 24.
