Marathi filmmaker Kedar Shinde commemorated Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray on the occasion of the party’s 56th founding day. Shinde has shared a throwback photo of his father with Balasaheb.

According to Shinde, the newspaper had also asked his father to stay away from Shiv Sena. While writing the history of Shiv Sena, his father’s contribution is not mentioned, said Shinde.
“I remember all this today. Baba voted for Shiv Sena till the end. Uncle Thackeray also loved Sable’s family. But sadly, when the history of Shiv Sena is written, Baba’s contribution will not be mentioned in it.
