Top-seeded Novak Djokovic advanced to the Wimbledon semifinals after defeating 10th-seeded Janik Siner in two sets on Central Court on Tuesday.

Six-time Wimbledon champion Djokovic defeated the 20-year-old Sinar 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 and the 35-year-old will now face ninth seed Cam Norie or David. Goffin, who is playing on Joe 1, court no.

Nori, who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals in the Open era, is only trying to become the fourth British player. Others include Andy Murray, Tim Heinemann and Roger Taylor.

Djokovic extended his winning streak to 26 matches at the All England Club and improved to 10-1 in five sets at the All England Club, only to lose in 2006.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion’s most recent defeat at Wimbledon was five years ago, when he retired with a corner injury.

The victory was Djokovic’s 84th victory at Wimbledon and he tied with Jimmy Connors to win the second match of the men’s singles at the All England Club, beating only Roger Federer.
