Men to win the most Grand Slams: Nadal, Federer, Djokovic – List of most Grand Slam titles in amateur and open air

Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic

Swiss great Federer and Sarbinator Djokovic have each won 20 Grand Slam titles, while Clay King Nadal has won 21 Grand Slam titles so far.

Nadal-Federer’s rivalry for the Grand Slam title between the three began, and Djokovic, who won his first title in 2008, soon joined the great pair.

The trio currently tops the Open Era men’s Grand Slam championships, but the record was set by the great Pete Sampras in 2009 before Federer overtook his tally.

In 2000, Sampras surpassed Australian great Roy Emerson, who holds the record for most Grand Slam wins in men’s tennis in the amateur era. The list of most Grand Slam winners includes Rod Laver and Bourne Borg.

Djokovic has the most Australian Open titles with 9 wins, Nadal has the most French Open titles with 13 wins and Federer has the most Wimbledon titles with 8 wins.

In the Open Era, Federer and Sampras are tied for the most U.S. Open titles with 5 wins, while Bill Tilden, Richard Sears and William Larnand hold the record for most U.S. Open titles with a total of 7 wins.
