KSCA is planning 6 teams in Bangalore city, Mysore, Shimoga, Hubli / Dharwad, Raichur and Mangalore.
The team of 6 teams on KSCA invites express interest from corporates for sponsorship and naming rights.
1. Team bidding process
Interested corporates can purchase EOI form from KSCA office till July 5 for a fee of Rs. 11,800 / -, which is non-refundable.
2. What is Karnataka T20 competition
Following in the footsteps of the IPL, Karnataka is one of the few states to launch its own T20 league and rename it as the Karnataka Premier League (KPL).
The first edition of KPL was played in 2009 and the last edition was played in 2018-19. The Hubli Tigers are the current winners.

The now extinct Bijapur Bulls are the most successful team in the KPL with 2 wins.

4. KPL dispute
Although the KPL was organized with great fanfare and attracted interest from the audience and the film industry as a team, the competition was not entirely uncontroversial.
Allegations of player involvement in match-fixing and betting have surfaced more than once, forcing the KSCA to take some drastic action. Of course, the growth of Kovid-19 in the country leads to a gap of two years between 2020 and 2021. Now, KSCA is ready for the new version from 2022.
