Four years later, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s veteran film Ponyin Selvan: Income, Wednesday, the producers released a new poster of the movie starring the actress. As Nandini, Aishwarya looks very beautiful in one ethnic dress and is adorned with many ornaments. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Aishwarya wrote in the caption, “Suda’s face is beautiful! Meet Queen Nandini of Pazhvur! The PS1 is set to hit theaters in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on September 30, ”and tagged Mani Ratnam on the director’s post.
While the fans went crazy after seeing the poster, the actress got a shout out from her husband Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek shared Aishwarya’s post on his Instagram story and dropped a huge red heart emoticon. Take a look at the following poster:
Ponyin Selvan: Income This will be the fourth collaboration between Aishwarya and director Mani Ratnam. The film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karti, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lakshmi, R. Sarath Kumar and Shobhita Dhulipala are a couple. Co-produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Laika Productions, the film is the first of two major projects based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel. ponniyin selvan,
In March, Aishwarya shared her first look at the film and wrote, “The Golden Era is coming to the big screen on September 30th!” In the image, she is seen wearing a beautiful sari and her hair is tied back and intricately embroidered.
