R Madhavan opens up about wearing the director’s hat. After Rocketry, he probably won’t return to the director’s seat, the actor suggested.

R Madhavan is making his directorial debut in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. While fans are eager to see what he has for him this weekend, the actor admits he’s not looking forward to returning as a director in the future. In a recent interview, Madhavan said that he did not deserve to be a director.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a spying scandal centered on Nambi Narayanan. Starring in the role of R Madhavan, the film features powerful actors, including acclaimed international actors like Phyllis Logan, Vincent Ryota and Ron Dona, and is adorned by superstars Shahrukh Khan and Suriya.

Speaking about his role as a director, Madhavan told Mid-Day, “I don’t think I deserve to be a director. I didn’t go to anyone [filmmaking] School, or I didn’t help anyone [director], I don’t think I’ll be directing again. So, I don’t care about authentication [for my directorial skills] At this time, Dr. Again, I did not verify anything. I am one of the wanderers who follow their hearts. ,

The actor-director also revealed that he spent almost six years producing the film. Earlier, the film team had shared a series of videos showing Madhavan’s transformation. In a video, Madhavan reveals, “It took me at least 18 hours to get Nambi Narayanan’s look.” He said he bleached his hair and beard and had to add extra kilos for the role. Further, the actor-director stated that “the original locations in the film have been taken to touch reality and no facts have been tampered with.”

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will be released on July 1. The film clashes with Aditya Roy Kapoor’s Om – The Battle Within.
