MLB All-Star Week is starting to take shape.

Over the weekend, all-star starters and reserves were announced for Tuesday’s match between the American and National Leagues, and now the home run derby is in focus.

Who slept

The MLB on Fox Reporter Ken Rosenthal had been thinking about what the names are in the All-Star Game this week, but in the cold they were left out.

Who is in the Home Run Derby?

Three names have participated in the 2022 Home Run Derby, including past winner of the New York Mets, Pete Alonso.

As of Monday, Alonso has scored 23 home runs in 85 games.

Ronald Akuna Jr., an NL starter and one of the brightest stars in the game, is one of Alonso’s namesakes. As of Monday, he has eight home runs in 53 games against Atlanta.

The Lewis Cardinals have made an amazing entry into the Future Hall of Fame by making a comeback this season, scoring five home runs in 48 games as of Monday.

Washington Nationals superstar Juan Soto is also rumored to be on the field.
