Nottingham Forest have signed Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a season-long loan, the new Premier League club said on Saturday.
Henderson, a United Academy graduate, played three games in all competitions last season and could not replace David de Gea as first-choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford.

“I am delighted to be joining an amazing club that has an amazing set of fans and an amazing history,” Henderson said in a statement.
“I would like to thank the managers and owners of Nottingham Forest for the wonderful opportunity to play for this club in the first season of the Premier League.”
This is Henderson Forrest’s second off-season deal since Nigerian forward Taivo Avoni joined for a club-record fee last month.
Forrest, who beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the Championship playoffs to return to the Premier League, began his campaign by visiting Newcastle United on 6 August.
