Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani had organized the Arangetram of Bhavana Thackeray’s disciple Radhika Merchant on Sunday evening. Radhika, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Veerant Merchant and Shaila Merchant, performed her Aranjaram at The Grand Theater at Geo World Center, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The event was jointly organized by Virant Merchant and Shaila Merchant along with Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
The dancer is scheduled to complete formal training in classical dance and for her first performance on stage. Radhika is a disciple of Srinivha Kalaguru Bhavana Thacker. Thackeray has made invaluable contributions to the world of Indian classical dance for over four decades. He is a renowned graduate of the Nalanda Institute of the University of Mumbai.
Crowds of VVIPs from across the city, including Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani, dressed in their traditional attire at the high-profile event.
The Ambani brothers were seen welcoming the dignitaries of the night together.
The family was joined by many industry stars including Ranveer Singh and Salman Khan. Ranveer was seen wearing a traditional red kurta at the event. He was wearing a matching mask, which he refused to remove despite several requests from the paparazzi. Meanwhile, Salman opted for a more formal fit. Returning from IIFA a few hours ago, Salman was seen wearing a formal blazer, under a dark blue shirt and a pair of black pants.
Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge were also present on the occasion. While the cricketer was seen wearing a pink and white kurta-pajamas, Sagarika opted for a plain beige kurta with a bright red dupatta.
