Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s next venture is director Mani Ratnam’s Magnum Opus Ponyin Selvan. The makers of the film released a new poster on Wednesday, featuring the actress, who looks stunningly beautiful and exquisite in ethnic attire with many ornaments.
In this film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the role of Rani Nandini of Pazhuvur. She was last seen in Fanny Khan (2018) with Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. She shared the poster on her Instagram account and captioned it “Suda’s face is beautiful! Meet Queen Nandini of Pazhvur! # PS1 is showing in cinemas in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on September 30th.

The actor last appeared in the Netflix hit Dasavi and will soon be working on a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Oth Seruppu Size 7. Ponniyin Selvan I is the fourth film between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mani Ratnam. The last project they worked on together was Ravana (2010). In fact, the actress made her silver screen debut in 1997 from Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar, followed by Guru in 2007 with her husband.
Ponniyin Selvan I is a multistarrer film starring Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karti, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lakshmi, R. Sarathkumar and Shobhita Dhulipala. Co-produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Laika Productions, the film is the first of two major projects based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 Ponniyin Selvan novel.
