Novak Djokovic needed more sets than expected to reach the second round of Wimbledon.

The top-seeded Serb, a six-time All England Club champion, defeated Sanwo Kwon 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 on center court.

Kwon played well as the roof of the main stadium was closed, but Djokovic improved in the middle of the third set.

This was Djokovic’s 80th victory at the All England Club, making him the first man or woman to win at least as many matches in each of the four major tournaments.
