Archana Puran Singh revealed that her husband Parmeet Sethi feels that she should charge a royalty for every joke she made at the Kapil Sharma show at her expense.
Archana Puran Singh is undoubtedly the lifeblood of The Kapil Sharma Show. While she doesn’t participate directly, she adds the much-needed ‘dawn’ to the show. Sometimes, jokes are also made at their expense and the actresses are happy as a game every time. However, her husband Parmeet Sethi feels that she should get ‘royalty’ for every joke made on her.
Speaking to ETimes, Archana Singh revealed what her husband Parmeet and children Aryaman and Ayushman The Kapil Sharma think about the show. She explained, “They (their sons) are young modern kids, who watch Hollywood movies and stand-up roasts and there are no boundaries. From the age of five or six, he has seen his mother fall victim to vulgar jokes. From the days of comedy circus… they find it very normal and on the other hand Parmeet says they make a lot of jokes about me but they don’t give me royalties. I am entitled to a royalty on every umpire I clean the dishes in the house and do all your chores. ,
But her mother-in-law is the happiest of the jokes made on the actress. She continued, “She teases me. She says, ‘Today Kapil told you that your mustache grows, after 12:30 your mustache grows,’ she enjoys and laughs. Then sometimes she says, ‘Today he was talking about Kapil, your eyes (biceps) are like Sunny Deol’.
The Kapil Sharma show is now closed, as the team is on tour in the US and Canada. He had previously performed in Vancouver. The show has now been replaced by India’s Laughter Champion, with Suman and Judge Archana Shekhar.
